School counselors are certified and licensed educators who help all students succeed in school,apply interpersonal skills, and plan their career. The combination of their training and experiencemakes them a unique and integral part of schools. The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) will recognize professional school counselorsduring the week of February 6-10, 2023, as part of National School Counseling Week.
