PTO Spooktacular is October 29

We will be having our Fall Spooktacular event on October 29th during school hours. There will be games for the students during their PE time. Treats will be provided as well. Students may wear costumes, but no costume masks or face paint can be worn. Students must wear their covid face masks. No accessories (such as swords, etc) to the costumes can be brought to school.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month

What are we doing at Oak Point Elementary School to prevent bullying this month?  Each month, a different grade level will be decorating our lobby bulletin board in an anti-bullying theme of their choosing. This month, the 5th grade class will be decorating the bulletin board.  Bullying prevention will be addressed in classroom guidance lessons and through a series of announcements providing our students with uplifting words of kindness and encouragement each morning.  Students will be visited by McGruff the Crime Dog! This date will be announced soon.  Oak Point will participate in a dress-up week to bring awareness to bullying prevention, including participation in National Unity Day by wearing orange. 

Mission Statement

Oak Point Elementary will address the needs of the whole child, while providing a rigorous learning environment which promotes academic excellence and prepares students for a successful future.
