Recent News

After School SOL REMEDIATION PROGRAM

Smyth County Schools will be offering an SOL Remediation Program for students in grades 3 through 5 needing remediation in reading, math, social studies, and science. Oak Point Elementary’s SOL Remediation program will operate two days per week beginning Tuesday, February 3 and ending Tuesday, April 21. Our program will operate each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 until 5:00pm. Limited bus transportation will be provided.

Emergency Drills

Oak Point Elementary School will be conducting Emergency Drills as required by the Code of Virginia.
