Penny Drive for St. Judes Children’s Hospital
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. As you may know, one of our own OPES students is battling leukemia. We would like to show our support by raising money for St. Judes Children’s Hospital in Memphis where this student is undergoing treatment.
OPES will have a Penny Drive to see which class can raise the most money. Students can bring in pennies (or any monetary amount), and for every $1.00 raised, we will hang an orange or gold ribbon on our hallway tree! The class that wins this contest by raising the most money will receive a popcorn party.
Please help us to cover our tree to fight childhood cancer!
